The Story So Far....

Hi All

It all started way back in August 2008. The itch to take the big leap and build our new home was too much to resist.

Our last house was put on the market and 12 weeks later sold.

In the meantime we searched far & wide for our builder and where in the Camden area we wanted to live. Garden Gates, Mount Annan was the front runner for quite a while until we realised that the available blocks were getting smaller and steeper. 12 months earlier we showed interest in Spring Farm. We loved the location and promise of great things to come but the land prices were too high. When we gave up on Garden Gates we looked up Spring Farm one more time. To our joy the land prices had dropped up to $45,000. The blocks were relatively flat and they still had 700sqm blocks available overlooking the Camden Valley.

On Saturday 8th November 08 we laid down our deposit for our block of land.

Now the builder. Eden Brae have nice houses but the costs just kept going up and up on their base packages as you told them your required upgrades. Pro Corp & Fowler Homes had the best overall packages but fell short in the finish and design of the home.

Wisdom Homes started at a very competitive price from the get go. Wisdom was also offering fantastic upgrade packages that gave us the finish that we had planned for in the home without the constant rise to the final price. All desired upgrades were of reasonable price and Wisdom's display homes spoke volumes for their quality and professionalism. We really feel that the customer service, knowledge and friendliness exhibited by the sales team with all the above mentioned was showing us that going with Wisdom Homes was clearly the best decision that we could make.

On Sunday 21st December 08 we signed our Tender with Wisdom Homes.
The initial plans were given to us on Friday 16th January 09. The house was going to look awesome. On Wednesday 11th February 09 we signed the Building Agreement and on Thursday 19th February 09 our plans were submitted to council.... stay tuned
