Bricks Complete

It has been a little while since our last update but the building has been ticking along nicely. Our brick work is now complete....see pics below

When it comes to choosing your mortar joint type (flush, raked or ironed) listen to your brickies. We originally wanted flush joints but we were talked out of it, both by our site supervisor and brickie(Peter). They suggested we opt for ironed joints and Peter explained the reasons why. The quality of workmanship by our brickies and their invaluable experience has just made our house look a million bucks.

The weather this week has really put the skids on our progress. We can't complain too much since we had a run of 19 days of perfect weather giving us a dream start. The facia's & gutters are next and then the roof tiles, which we hope will be started next week....weather pending
