Would be the second hardest thing to choose when building your home , 1st being the choice of your exterior colours. So much pressure to get it right as the colours you choose speak volumes for the feel & look of your home.
We thought we were smart about it, and actually went to Di Lorenzo just before we chose our external colours with Anita. When it came to our actual appointment we had a very good idea of what we wanted....but....2 of the tiles we chose back then were no longer in the builder's range........%@!*) and both choices were the floor tiles..... %@!* .
Long story short, we had no choice but to upgrade our Ens, Bthrm, Ldry floor tiles (>$10 sqm) due to a very limited range & the colours were way out of our colour theme. The main floor tiles were also >$10 sqm, Sadly we couldn't upgrade due to the large expense, but we were very fortunate to be able to find a reasonable replacement that was within the builders range.
All we can say is, be prepared for limited choices in the $25 allowance. If only the allowance was $35, it would have opened up a lot more choices.
