Well today was supposed to see the start of our floor tiles, but it was not to be :(
Not all bad news though because our Ensuite is all done (minus grout) and the main bathroom would of been completed by the end of the today. Surely our tiler will grout everything tomorrow and do our porch tiles as well. It is my hope that the end of the week brings better luck ......? and our floors will have been started?????
In the meantime the painters are starting to ramp up. Today saw the preparation of all the window frames & door jams for their first coat in the next couple of days.
Joe(S/S) has ordered our showerscreens, which we have been told is a good indicator that our house is 4 weeks from completion....OH YEAH!!!!

Ummmm???? , you have looked at a lot of tiles lately haven't you????? I had to go back to our tile selection sheets and check, low & behold you were right on the money. They are Sthrn X Strata A126-Format 1. I remember that there are heaps of different combinations. The centre and right are glass and the left is natural stone. We really like them too, simple but attractive.

It's all looking fantastic, it's great to see it all come together.
The main floor tiles are grouted with neutral grout & the charcoal tiles that are on all the outside areas is a dark grey, I'm sorry I don't have a name for it as the tiler just matched it to the tiles.
ReplyDeleteSorry guys there is no name for the outside tile grout colour on my tile sheet. Let me know if you want me to take a close up of it. The tiler just grouted it to suit the tile.
ReplyDeletehaha, we so have been looking at tiles big time! We've chosen the Southern and I think they are the Vista, which is just laid differently I think and I am pretty sure that one of our colours is the one you have in the middle! haha, what a coincidence.
